Business budgeting and planning processes could be transformed by mashups, a feature of the latest edition of arcplan’s business performance management software which builds composite views of content combined from different sources and applications.
In arcplan Enterprise 6, mashup technology enables business analysts to enrich the data sources they use for their business analyses and the visualisation options for their reports, the company said.
Any open Web API content can be published directly into an arcplan application, using a new JavaScript API.
Enterprise 6 will also bridge arcplan applications into a variety of portal environments such as SharePoint, WebSphere or NetWeaver, arcplan said.
