YouTube has launched three new translation tools to help creators make their content more accessible and understandable to global audience.
With the help of community-contributed subtitles and CC tool, creators can let their community of viewers contribute subtitles.
Translated titles and descriptions will allow users to discover videos in their native languages. YouTube said it will display their video information in the correct language to the viewers.
Translation marketplace (beta) lets users order professional translations of their content from Video Manager.
YouTube said some of its partners have already tested out the features and had better results.
The company said: "Take VICE. Their channel more than doubled the daily watchtime on translated videos from Spanish and Portuguese speakers. In fact, watchtime from Spanish users tripled."
YouTube has more than a billion users and is available in 76 different languages.
Earlier this month, YouTube introduced a feature on its Android app to enhance the virtual reality (VR) experience of the users while watching videos.
Users will have to place their Android phones onto Google’s low cost "Cardboard" VR headset to view the content.
