Tata Teleservices, Indian telecom service provider has entered into a partnership with Yahoo! India to provide web experience and an online user interface to all Tata Indicom customers.

According to Tata Indicom, a co-branded Yahoo! India homepage is expected to be the default page across all Tata Indicom Internet access devices. The partnership is expected to enable Yahoo! India to reach out directly to millions of users subscribing to Tata Indicom internet services.

The subscribers will also be able to find information on services like bill payment, tariff plans and promotions on the portal. Apart from this, the users will also have access to online content and communication services through Yahoo!’s properties like Yahoo! Mail, Yahoo! Search, Yahoo! News, Yahoo! Cricket, Yahoo! Mobile and more, said Tata Indicom.

Mr. Lloyd Mathias, chief marketing officer of Tata Teleservices, said: “Our partnership with Yahoo! India is first of its kind in the telecom space in India. This alliance will allow Yahoo! to reach a wider audience in the internet and digital spaces and gain access to a captive user base to create not only a deeper connection with users but also deliver a seamless user experience across platforms,”
