Virtual meetings provider PGi has launched a new mobility suite for its secure video conferencing offerings for business, iMeet. iMeet mobile apps.
The company said that iMeet HD for the iPad takes advantage of the iPad’s large screen to create an immersive, feature-rich video meeting experience. Built using HTML5, iMeet HD also works on other top selling tablets – directly in the device browser, without installing an application.
iMeet Mobile for the iPhone is a native iOS app, with an optimized user interface that highlights the features most important to iMeet hosts and guests using an iPhone or iPod Touch.
PGi founder, chairman and CEO Boland Jones said the office does not have four walls anymore — it’s wherever your technology and tools enable you to engage with colleagues, customers and prospects.
Jones continued, "With this shift in work styles, smartphones, cloud tools and mobility apps are must-haves to stay connected and productive.

In addition to the new iMeet mobility suite, PGi has also launched a number of enhancements and upgrades to iMeet including: enhanced softphone with echo-cancellation; international land line dial-out; and an improved "add a guest" feature.
