Hawaiian Telcom has completed its acquisition of Wavecom Solutions, an information and communications technology company for approximately $9.6m.
Hawaiian Telcom said the fibre network of Wavecom Solutions will bolster its network capabilities.
The acquisition will enable Hawaiian Telcom to deliver new end-to-end applications to customers throughout Hawaii and drive long-term value for shareholders, the company said.
The transaction is expected to generate approximately $4.5m of annual free cash flow upon completion of integration activities.
Wavecom Solutions provides voice, data and converged services to small and medium-sized business and carrier customers.
Hawaiian Telcom president and CEO Eric K. Yeaman said: "By adding Wavecom Solutions’ fiber network and business capabilities to our technology and operations, we’ll enhance our ability to serve growing customer demand for high speed Internet bandwidth and advanced communications."
