A data centre developer has signed a deal to build and lease an IT infrastructure base in the Netherlands.
Digital Realty has announced the agreement with KPN, a Dutch landline and mobile communications firm, as it seeks to grow in the European market.
The data centre landlord will reportedly fund the construction of the 7,000 square foot centre in Groningen before leasing it to KPN, porviding it with a centre with a capacity of 3.5 megawatts of critical load.
