According to Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung Mobile), the Eternity is a multimedia-rich device which features: one-touch access to AT&T Mobile TV; a QWERTY keypad and a three megapixel camera. AT&T Mobile TV is a service from MediaFLO USA, a wholly owned subsidiary of Qualcomm that provides users with instant access to streaming television content and sporting events from networks.
The company claims that the new phone will provide customers access to mobile broadband web from AT&T’s 3G network, AT&T Navigator2, AT&T Mobile Music with Napster Mobile.
According to Samsung, its TouchWiz user interface enables the user to access quickly to favorite features. It says that, the “drag and drop” feature allows users to have instant access to functions, such as the clock, music player, instant messaging, photos and AT&T Mobile TV.
Jeff Bradley, senior vice president of devices for AT&T’s mobility and consumer operations, said: “Eternity can provide number of entertainment options for AT&T customers. Our customers are looking for mobile phones to be a remote control for their life, bringing music, the Internet, GPS navigation and even TV with them on the go.”
