Internet content security company Trend Micro has signed an agreement with Iconix to offer a branded version of the Iconix eMail ID offering, through its service provider partners.
Trend Micro said that the eMail ID truemark service marks legitimate email messages with the sender’s logo, and offers email recipients to instantly find messages they care about, and avoid phishing attacks and other malicious email.
In addition, the offering allows senders of email including financial services, governments and healthcare organisations, to help protect their brand from spoofing, and ensure high response rates.
The eMail ID truemark service also complements other Trend Micro tools and products by operating directly in the email client.
Iconix sales vice president Bill Ames said that with the company’s product, email recipients can easily tell real from fake email, for thousands of senders.
