Computer security firm Symantec has said that one of its group presidents, Rowan Trollope will leave the firm.
Trollope is the second senior executive to depart after the firm appointed Steve Bennett as its new CEO replacing Enrique Salem in July this year.
In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the company said Trollope resigned to pursue another job.
Trollope oversaw the Symantec units focused on cloud computing and small- and medium-sized business clients.
A Symantec spokeswoman told Reuters that no successor has been named.
In October this year, Symantec said that its global sales chief would be leaving the firm and Bennett has since taken direct control of managing the sales force.
For the second quarter of fiscal year 2013 ended 28 September 2012, Symantec reported a total net revenue of $1.69bn, an increase of 1% from $1.68bn for the same period in 2011.
The company’s net income rose by 6% to $193m, or $0.27 earnings per share, for the quarter, compared to $182m, or $0.24 earnings per share, for the corresponding period in the previous year.
