SAP has released 9.0 version of the SAP Business One application that runs on Microsoft SQL and is claimed to efficiently run business processes in real time.
The revamped version for small businesses comes with more than 50 new features and can be deployed on premise or cloud and is accessible through mobile devices.
According to the company, the new version provides improved business partnership features and warehouse management, infrastructure and inventory management as well as improved systems performance capabilities.
Additionally, the new version of SAP Business One runs on the in-memory platform from SAP now in restricted shipment, while the SAP HANA allows companies to analyse increasing data and benefit from fast application performance.
Features of the 9.0 version include greater collaboration through Ariba, simple adaption to company and industry-specific requirements and ease of implementation and upgrade.
SAP is also planning to integrate options like easier add-on development for partners, new and enhanced business processes and real-time reporting and analytics.
