UK based application delivery and security firm Quadrant Networks has selected network security and management applications provider Arbor’s Pravail Availability Protection System (APS) to ensure the availability and performance of critical enterprise applications.
Pravail APS is built for rapid deployment, even during an attack and it provides network, security teams with full real-time reporting, visibility and forensic capabilities.
With Arbor’s Pravail APS, Quadrant Networks offers on-premise protection against the threat to availability, application-layer distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks for its enterprise and e-commerce customers.
Quadrant Networks co-founder and technical director Paul Risk said by utilising the Pravail APS, the company can offer customers an on-premise application that detects and mitigates application-layer DDoS attacks without interrupting application delivery and other network services.
"Working with the world’s leading solution suppliers, like Arbor Networks for DDoS mitigation, enables Quadrant Networks to focus on the specific needs of each customer’s deployment so we can customize the best possible solution," Risk said.
Arbor Networks president Colin Doherty said: "With Pravail APS, we are empowering enterprises to maintain control over availability itself, using technology that has been battle-tested in the world’s largest and most complex networks."
With the Pravail APS, Arbor brings carrier-class DDoS detection and mitigation capabilities to the enterprise.
The ATLAS Intelligence Feed (AIF) turns the Arbor’s visibility into DDoS botnets to real-time signatures that are updated automatically in the Pravail APS.
