Imera Systems has announced a new Cloud Security Service (CSS) that enables enterprises to leverage the public cloud to meet peak computing requirements while also protecting applications and data in multi-tenancy public cloud environment.
According to Imera, the CSS provides enterprises a software-based offering to access, control, and manage remote applications and data, and builds security regions to protect computing resources in a public cloud.
The company said that the data and applications hosted within the security regions are virtually shielded, meaning isolated from other tenants for maximum protection. Imera CSS also enables enterprise customers to provision user access to the cloud resources within security region based on user roles, privileges and projects.
In addition, CSS also allows enterprises to monitor all resources protected in the secure regions for regulatory compliance and audit trails. It offers on-demand, pay-as-you-go cloud security services for enterprise customers to instantly scale up or down the needed resources leased in public cloud.
Jaushin Lee, CEO of Imera, said: "Cloud computing promises business and IT agility, higher productivity, and lower operation costs. While companies see the benefits of public cloud computing, many are struggling to embrace this new paradigm due to security and compliance concerns. With our Cloud Security Service, Imera puts the control back in the hand of enterprises."
