Dell has launched a comprehensive security offering portfolio for midsized businesses and organisations, which integrates industry leading technology, products, security management tools and services to help customers protect their IT infrastructure and data.
The company said that as part of its security offering, Dell and Juniper Networks plans for an expansion of their agreement to develop additional SMB focused Unified Threat Management features and network security appliances, adding to the existing J-SRX Services Gateway portfolio.
In addition, Dell has also partnered with SecureWorks, a provider of information security services, to provide information security services, which helps customers to identify, monitor and manage security risks and compliance needs.
Steve Felice, president for consumer, small and medium business at Dell, said: "Security is difficult and increasingly complex for midsize businesses to assemble the resources to protect against the numerous security threats they face – data breach through the network, data leakage by employees, malware attacks or lost laptops.
"Dell has entered the security space and done the work for our customers. The result is our comprehensive approach to security that helps protect against attacks via the network or endpoints like laptops and smart phones, and provides a full range of security services."
