Dell and Cylance have extended their partnership, announcing that Cylance technology will be integrated with Dell Data Security’s new product Endpoint Security Suite Enterprise.
The new product will integrate an understanding of attack vectors with Cylance’s artificial intelligence and algorithmic science for endpoint protection.
Stuart McClure, CEO, Cylance: "Marrying Dell’s industry-leading endpoint security with Cylance’s artificial intelligence approach provides enterprise organizations with unprecedented protection to actively predict and prevent malware and advanced threats."
Cylance testing says the new product stopped 99% of malware and advanced persistent threats (APT).
Endpoint Security Software brings authentication, encryption and APT protection into one product, with management of all the tools in one console, using a fraction of the computing resources cyber security solutions normally would.
The product does not need constance connection to the cloud, or indeed a persistent network connection. False positives are reduced, and there are no signature updates.
Steve Lalla, VP, Commercial Client Software and Solutions, Dell, said: "Our collaboration with Cylance provides our customers with the most comprehensive endpoint and data security solutions to protect their data and prevent advanced persistent threats without hampering productivity and mobility."
Dell’s ProSupport for Software is bundled into purchases of the security tool, which gives around the clock access to certified engineers.
Dell Ventures invested in the cyber security firm earlier in 2015.
