Meantime, reports the Financial Times, NEC Corp says it hopes to start shipping 1M-bit DRAMs from its Livingston wafer fab next month or in May, while Motorola Inc says it plans to be producing the 1M parts that it gets under contract from Toshiba Corp at its East Kilbride factory by the year-end.
