Cloud based project management application service provider Wrike has opened an office in Dublin to expand its operations across UK and Ireland.
The Dublin office has 50 employees, who will serve Wrike’s expanding enterprise customer base in France, Germany and the UK, where the demand for its services have has grown by 20% month-on-month.
Wrike offers its services across 120 countries, to more than 8,000 companies, with the company planning to add an additional £1m in new annualised recurring revenue every month, especially from the UK and Ireland that have turned out to be the biggest growth areas for its services.
According to a report by Pierre Audoin Consultants, the UK leads in terms of collaboration projects in Europe, as UK and Irish enterprises look to streamline their operations.
The company is expecting to benefit from the move.
Wrike CEO Andrew Filev said that the company has gained a strong grip among marketing teams, professional services and technology companies, because it is caters to their collaboration needs.
Andrew Filev added: "The pace of today’s digital business can no longer be managed through outdated collaboration methods like spreadsheets and email.
"Businesses are increasingly hungry for better ways of working and looking for ways to improve their competitive edge, with the UK and Ireland at the forefront of that change."
