California-based cloud company Skyhigh Networks has introduced Security Intelligence Platform for Sanctioned Cloud Services, a single platform for rapid detection and response on security, compliance, and data governance across all sanctioned cloud services.

The Security Intelligence Platform is an extension of a similar platform for Shadow Cloud Services that helps enterprises detect anomalous behaviour indicative of security breaches or insider threats.

Built on a canonical Cloud API Engine, the new platform is compatible with several Sanctioned Cloud Services including Salesforce, Jive, Workday, Google for Work, Microsoft Office 365, Dropbox for Business and ServiceNow.

Skyhigh said the platform is capable of protecting corporate data in cloud systems from insider threats and compromised accounts.

Its canonical CloudAPI Engine is capable of delivering compliance, data governance capabilities, and consistent security to the most comprehensive list of sanctioned cloud services in the industry.

The Security Intelligence Platform is also capable of providing behavioral analytics where it can prevent data loss from compromised accounts and insider threats.

Privileged user analytics will enable the platform observe user activities for audit and compliance purposes.

The platform will also provide detailed and continuous view of all sensitive data through sensitive data analytics, and provide real-time alerts, integrates with existing SIEMs.

Skyhigh Networks CEO Rajiv Gupta said: "Enterprises are looking to harness the agility and productivity offered by cloud services, but the cloud can also pose a security blind spot.

"Sanctioned cloud services that are rapidly becoming systems of record for critical business functions need to be protected from compromised accounts and rogue insiders.

"The Skyhigh Security Intelligence Platform is designed specifically for security teams chartered to protect corporate data across both shadow and sanctioned cloud services."
