The Cloud28+ cloud service catalogue has moved into general availability.
Strongly backed by HPE, the catalogue is designed to help European enterprises to easily search for cloud services that fit their specific requirements.
In addition to this feature, it also enables customers to sort for data centre locations which should help to ensure compliance with local laws.
The centralised app store goes live with 680 cloud services from 150 Cloud28+ members which covers Infrastructure-as-a-Service, Platform-as-a-Service and Software-as-a-Service offerings.
Currently over 1,000 end user organisations have pre-registered to use the catalogue which has a technology framework based on the HPE Helion OpenStack.
In October, Xavier Poisson, VP HP Helion Europe, set a target of 600 services being available by the end of December, up from the 320 that were available at the time.
The fast increase of services and members, now at 150 up from 110 in October suggests a large interest in the service.
Zettabox, a European cloud storage and team-sharing platform became the most recent addition to the community.
