HP has announced the new HP Cloudline portfolio, designed specifically to differentiate services, increase speed and agility and drive business growth for service providers.
The HP Cloudline server family has been launched as a result of the HP-Foxconn joint venture and is a portfolio of customisable compute platforms that offer capacity on demand along with flexible operations.
Cloudline is built on open-design principles and supports open management tools as well as being able to leverage common industry interfaces in hardware and firmware.
The Cloudline servers are optimised for HP’s Helion OpenStack, which HP says compliments the architectural design and benefits of HP Cloudline.
Antonio Neri, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Enterprise Group, HP, said: "Service providers must adjust to meet ever-increasing customer demands for simplicity, security and availability – they can no longer compete on cost alone."

In order to help increase adoption HP are offering a "pay-as-you-grow" model through the HP Service Provider Growth Suite.
The suite helps to manage investment and asset management solutions in order to help service providers by reducing upfront costs and by also providing ongoing support.
Also included in the suite is HP’s Datacentre Care for Service Providers which aims to offer a relationship-based approach in order to provide personalised support and management.
The HP Cloudline servers are expected to be available from 30th March, while the HP Service Provider Growth Suite is available now.
