CloudBolt has added several features to its cloud delivery platform including self-service and automation.
The enhancements are designed to meet the customer demand for an all-in-one solution to deal with operational inefficiencies of enterprise virtualisation and cloud computing.
The features that have been added include service catalogue functionality to help facilitate multi-tier app deployments. The platform has also been further integrated with technologies from VMware, OpenStack, AWS, Azure and others.
Jon Mittelhauser, CEO, CloudBolt, said: "We’re seeing exploding demand for CloudBolt as the increasing complexity of enterprise virtualization and cloud computing becomes a massive headache for enterprise IT."
To help improve ease of use for users, CloudBolt has improved its UI with social aspects. Other additions include new trigger points for power on/off for rebooting servers and post-order completion process.
The London Borough of Camden has opted to deploy the company’s cloud delivery platform to help gain better insight and control over its virtualised IT environment.
John Jackson, Assistant Director (ICT) from the Borough of Camden, said: "At a time of austerity in government, running a low-cost, flexible hybrid cloud service for our customers is essential. CloudBolt provides a service that enables our customers to get the compute power they need, on demand, increasing their productivity and reducing our administrative overhead."
