BT is expanding its Cloud Of Clouds offering with Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute for Microsoft Office 365.
The move will allow BT’s corporate customers to set up a privacy-enhanced, managed connection for accessing Microsoft’s cloud-based Office 365 capabilities.
BT will provide the service for Office 365 at in Europe, the US and Asia.
It is among the first providers to offer the service in Europe via connectivity in Amsterdam and London with promises of lower latency predictable performance and better security.
BT Connect portfolio vice president Keith Langridge said: "Our customers are looking forward to accessing Office 365 in the cloud as if it was hosted in their own data centers."
Last year, BT allowed its customers to connect directly to Azure through a hybrid IT environment for their corporate networks, data centres and Azure.
