Business process and document management firm Xerox has introduced a new suite of cloud services to transform business operations of the small-and mid-sized businesses (SMBs).
Xerox’s business cloud services will include Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) for midrange and Intel systems, Cloud Backup, and Disaster Recovery services.
The new cloud services suite manages workload demand and ensures that a company’s applications, data and IT platforms are secure, said Cisco.
The Xerox Cloud IaaS meets the demands of various operating models and delivers secure cloud services via five global data centres that hold multi-tenant technologies and virtualised local area networks (LANs).
With the new services is expected to help in the recovery of data, applications and operating systems, everything on the server, and also to restore them in less than 24 hours, said the company.
Xerox Cloud Services senior vice-president Ken Stephens said managing IT operations in the ‘cloud’ is just as relevant and affordable for smaller companies and can be even more impactful.
"Expanding Xerox’s IaaS and Backup and Recovery services to SMBs is the next step toward offering a full suite of business cloud services that SMBs can access on a ‘pay-as-you-go’ model," said Stephens.
