Time Warner Inc says it plans to build a full service electronic network to serve about 4,000 residential customers in a suburb of Orlando, Florida: the new, two-way network will be operating by the end of 1993 and service will be available to homes in early 1994 and will change the way people use television, enabling them to receive interactive full motion video educational services, full video on demand including movies, and interactive video games – and Time Warner also plans to offer telephone services over the network; it has applied to the US regulators to test personal communication services in suburban Orlando.
