The Bank currently utilizes the iSeries server to support its network of 73 branches and power its primary distribution channels including ATM, telephone and internet banking.

After reporting a growth over the past three years to $3bn and a 40% increase per year of online banking customers, Sun National has revealed that it will install IBM’s iSeries this month to consolidate and simplify its infrastructure.

US banks continue to invest in branches as primary points of contact with customers, said Mark Shearer, IBM eServer iSeries general manager. For Sun National Bank, a leading community bank, the ability to manage multiple distribution channels from one platform gives them the flexibility and responsiveness to compete with larger players. The iSeries platform ensures that the Bank has a clear competitive advantage within this competitive industry.
