Nokia has unveiled two new 3G slider phones 6700 slide and 7230, with imaging features and access to social networking communities.

According to Nokia, the new 6700 slide features 2.2-inch QVGA display, measures 95.2 x 46 x 15.9mm and weighs 110g. It comes with 3G connectivity, a 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, dual LED flash and capture key, sharing of pictures and videos from the camera menu to OVI with notification directly on the homescreen, web browsing with HSDPA and HSUPA and support for email and Ovi chat.

In addition, the 6700 slide also features FM radio and music player, 2.2-inch QVGA display supporting 16.7m true colors, and support for up to 16GB microSD memory card. On full charged battery it gives talk time of up to 4 hours, standby time of up to 300hrs, and music playback of up to 29hrs. It comes with a choice of six vivid colours pink, red, petrol blue, aluminum, lime and purple.

The Nokia 7230 mobile features 2.4-inch display, measures 98mm x 48mm x 14.75mm and weighs 100g. It comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera, 3G connectivity, FM radio, bluetooth, Xpress audio messaging, 2GB memory and a subtle illumination feature to indicate missed calls or messages, the company said.

Both devices are expected to be available in the first quarter of 2010, with anticipated retail price of €160 for Nokia 6700 slide and €100 for Nokia 7230.
