Online services innovator Nefsis has introduced multi-layer whiteboard capabilities to its business video conferencing collaboration tools.

Wih the advanced features of multi-layer whiteboard online meeting participants can add text, graphics, and hand-drawn objects to the whiteboard, and edit them in real-time.

The improved whiteboarding is an advantage from Nefsis cloud computing which easily integrates new software-based features. More interactivity and a better integrated web and video conferencing experience will be provided by the new multi-layer whiteboard features, said the company.

The whiteboard features supports multiple layers and several ‘objects’ such as text, graphics, and shape and drawing tool inputs and the presenter or any participant who has been given whiteboard privileges can move, stretch, and delete the various objects. These capabilities are useful for distributed project teams, brainstorming, and inter-office chalk talks.

Nefsis Chief Technology Officer Allen Drennan said Nefsis includes a full multiple layer model, with various objects and tools that can be moved, stretched, deleted and modified, providing a lot more utility for savvy online meeting users.

"Cloud computing seamlessly integrates HD multiparty video and collaboration tools for our users, without the complexity and IT maintenance burden required by ‘platform’ infrastructure solution suites, video routers, and other pre-Internet video conferencing architectures," said Drennan.
