The launch of ‘Misys Connection’ coincides with Swift’s campaign to extend the range of messaging and file-based services it provides. It offers outsourced services for potential and existing Swift users without them having to operate and maintain their own interface when accessing the network.

Misys says that its customers no longer need to build and maintain a Swift data center. Instead, they can achieve straight through processing without impacting their existing systems and reduce operational risk.

Commenting on the launch, Leslie Regino, product and marketing manager, Misys Banking Systems, says, Misys Connection’s scalable architecture helps organizations keep operational costs down and speeds the time to market for their own products. By signing up to this service, companies can concentrate on their core competencies and trust Misys to take care of the challenges around cost, operational risk and compliance.

Misys has operated a Swift data centre since 1994 and was one of the first members to implement SwiftNet.
