Microsoft has introduced new CRM Accelerators for Dynamics CRM that is said to allow organisations reduce costs and establish business insight across social networks, channel-centric organisations and web interaction channels.

The company claimed that these offerings can be deployed as packaged extensions to its Dynamics CRM, or used to help develop new products.

Brad Wilson, general manager of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, said: “We continue to drive rapid innovation and outstanding price-to-value for customers and partners globally. These new accelerators expand the capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics CRM to address emerging business trends in social networking and drive efficiencies in collaborative business processes.”

The Social Networking Accelerator reportedly allows business professionals to monitor and analyse customers’ conversations on social networking sites, and provides status updates about their products and services. According to the company, this accelerator delivers integration with Twitter; other networks will be introduced in future releases.

The company’s Partner Relationship Management (PRM) Accelerator is said to allow businesses to use Dynamics CRM to distribute sales leads and centrally manage sales opportunities across channel partners. Using the PRM Accelerator, companies reportedly manage sales processes with their channel partners through a web portal, as well as extend the integration to automate business processes.

Microsoft said that the Portal Integration Accelerator can connect its Dynamics CRM to an organisation’s web experience. With this added capability, a business analyst can use point-and-click configuration – as opposed to web development – to extend to the internet business process.

The new CRM Accelerators will be made available in the coming weeks.

Microsoft Dynamics is a line of ERP and CRM applications that are delivered through a network of channel partners.
