Microsoft shares hopped 2% on Monday following a bumper Black Friday weekend for Xbox One sales.
Microsoft’s device was the best selling games console over the weekend, according to market tracker Infoscout.
It was also the second-best selling product overall, coming in behind Apple’s 16GB iPad Mini. Shares rose 2% on Monday afternoon, reaching $48.70.
On Black Friday itself, the Xbox One tool 53% of the day’s console sales, ahead of the PlayStation 4’s 31%.
Last month, Domino’s Pizza UK and Microsoft joined forces to release an app for the Xbox One which lets gamers order pizza whilst playing games.
"We love gamers and gamers love pizza," said Domino’s marketing director Simon Wallis.
"Xbox One has the best platform for us to build on. We’re proud to be able to allow people to purchase a physical product via their Xbox console.
