BlackBerry has added its Good Dynamics Secure Mobility Platform to Microsoft Azure to improve collaboration and communication capabilities for businesses adapting the cloud.
The move will enable organisations to mobilise several apps including those used for enhanced collaboration, ISV apps and custom-developed apps via Microsoft's cloud platform, instead of using their own infrastructure.
BlackBerry said with Good Dynamics in Microsoft Azure, the increasing number of businesses in emerging enterprise cloud environments could use enhanced security to make sure that critical business data is never put at risk.
BlackBerry executive vice president of enterprise product and value added solutions Billy Ho said: "As we work side-by-side with Microsoft we are providing customers with a breadth of new options to enhance and increase their mobile security.
"By utilising Good Dynamics through the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, customers have more flexibility in their deployment of BlackBerry´s industry-leading solutions – without having to sacrifice user experience or introduce more complexity into their environments."

BlackBerry had already made its BES12 enterprise server technology available on Microsoft Azure.
BES12 is a part of the Good Secure EMM Suites, offering an end-to-end approach to security, and allowing organisations to support a range of devices.
It allows users to securely manage mobile devices and other endpoints across different operating systems such as iOS, Android – including Android for Work and Samsung KNOX – Windows and BlackBerry as well as ownership models.
