Those are shark-infested waters out there, so if a Sunnyvale, California company with the desperately innocent-sounding name of Laser Friendly Inc tells you its completed a merger, you better quickly start counting its fingers: sho’ nuff, it turns out that company has been gobbled up by rapacious-sounding Pirrana Corp of Toronto: for the record, Laser Friendly, a developer of desktop publishing software for MS-DOS machines, is as a result a publicly-held Canadian company operating out of Silicon Valley with principal shareholder of the merged corporate entity – Laser Friendly Inc – being Print Three Inc of Scarborough, Ontario, which owns 91.4% of the shares out.
