Data integration software provider Informatica has released the new version of Informatica Cloud, its cloud data integration applications portfolio.

The new Informatica Cloud Spring 2012 release delivers cloud integration platform-as-a-service (PaaS) application, including a Cloud Connector Toolkit, Cloud Integration Templates and new enterprise features.

The new release introduces Informatica Cloud Developer Edition, which brings together a cloud connector toolkit and dynamic cloud integration templates.

It will also enable systems integrators and software vendors to build, customise and deliver native connectivity to any cloud or on-premise business and social applications that have published Web Services APIs.

The new Cloud Connector Toolkit allows developers to have access to a Java-based API to create connectors that run as sources or targets within Informatica Cloud.

Application developers can use these templates to embed Informatica Cloud data integration functionality into their own cloud applications.

The new release allows migration between instances of Informatica Cloud to support object reuse, sandbox development and rapid implementation time as well as supports version 24 of the Salesforce Web Services API and providesS uSE Linux support for the Informatica Cloud Secure Agent.
