IBM and SCB will work together to transform SCB’s existing data center to a scalable modular data center. IBM will also provide project management, recovery plan, and network assessment services.
The deal is part of IBM’s Project Big Green, a $1 billion initiative to increase the efficiency of its products and help clients increase energy efficiency in their data centers.

We look forward to IBM’s expertise to design and build a globally benchmarked, standardized, scalable, and energy-efficient facility that can support our dynamic growth plans effectively.
IBM plans to implement the entire data center in an eight-to-24-week period.
