HP has won a new five-year Client Computing/Servers (CCS) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) worth up to $800m from the US Air Force (USAF) for providing enterprise computing requirements.
Under the agreement, HP will provide the USAF with an array of business desktop and notebook PCs, including workstations, mobile workstations, thin clients, business-rugged PCs and performance displays.
In addition, HP will also provide departmental servers and additional storage for existing storage area networks, the company said.
According to HP, the products acquired through this agreement may be selected through the quantum enterprise buy (QEB) procurement system, and will be distributed to USAF bases and facilities around the world.
