The eHi has built up a network of more than 280 state, regional and community-based programs engaged in assisting the electronic mobilization of health data.
Under terms of the agreement, eHI and HIMSS will recognize eHI’s Connecting Communities as the primary networking community for regional health information organizations and health information exchange initiatives. eHI’s Connecting Communities Toolkit online resource will also serve as the primary source of tools, guidelines and resources.
HIMSS is currently developing a privacy and security tool for regional health data organizations which will be offered through the eHI Connecting Communities Toolkit.
