Harris (HRS), an international communications and information technology company, has been awarded a five-year, $26m contract to provide managed information technology offerings to the Air National Guard Network and Regional Operations and Security Centers.
The one-year, base-period contract, with four one-year options includes Tier III support for all facets of the enterprise IT system such as applications, infrastructure, vulnerability assessment, directory services, boundary protection and messaging.
Under the agreement, Harris IT Services, along with its teammates TechTeam Government Solutions and NetApp will assist the Air National Guard in this transition and consolidation by integrating services at 11 locations across the US.
According to Harris, the award was issued through the US Air Force Network-Centric Solutions (NETCENTS) contract, a five-year acquisition initiative that delivers interoperability and ongoing development of technology and system offerings to the Air Force, Department of Defense (DoD), and other federal agencies.
