Go Corp says it is expanding its initial programme offerings following demand from hardware partners, software partners, and early adopter customers. New programme offerings are to help along the development of new products that support PenPoint. Phase I of the Beta programme includes distribution of the Developer Release of PenPoint on new pen computers from Go’s hardware partners. This release is now available to them for development purposes. Phase II of the programme is due to kick off in December. It will focus on distribution of an enhanced version of PenPoint, which will exploit the Intel 80386 architecture. Following Phase II, PenPoint 1.0 will be available for general release. In addition to the PenPoint Beta Programme, Go Corp is expanding its educational offerings to enable hardware partners to support PenPoint developers and customers more effectively, with the establishment of the Authorised Education Center programme.
