Certeon, an application performance company, has launched its software cloud optimisation and application acceleration offering, which the company says, enables automated and secure public and private cloud interconnectivity.
The new aCelera cloud allows companies to securely connect their private cloud to virtually any public cloud provider, while reducing application response times and increasing their effective network throughput.
The offering allows companies to securely access applications and data in any cloud without the need of additional network devices or complex configuration.
In addition, aCelera Cloud simultaneously supports multiple hypervisors and includes a complete central management system, which provides deployment flexibility to global organisations, said the company.
The offering also enables cloud providers to deliver enhanced application performance and streamlined onboarding of new customers by automating and optimising data replication between clouds.
Certeon president and CEO Peter Dougherty said as a recent partner of Certeon’s offering a developer cloud, they are pleased to attack some of the current issues facing companies transitioning to the cloud by providing the software infrastructure for enabling automated, secure, optimised access to integrated development environments.
"As application services from cloud providers mature, the long-term benefits of automated and secure access to the applications, and associated cost-savings and flexibility, will be indisputable. Many organisations still have concerns over the security and control of their applications and business-critical information," Dougherty said.
"Being able to automatically create virtual private networks, connecting any cloud infrastructure running any application with aCelera Cloud, tackles these concerns head on."
