Sunnayvale, California-based Boole & Babbage Inc has bought a suite of CICS and VSAM performance utilities from Quantum International Corp for its Empact Software arm in Conyers, Georgia; no terms. The major two are the Hiper-Cache dataset performance optimiser for VSAM, SAM, IMS and CICS file processing, and the XA-Relo CICS performance optimiser.
