BICC Data Networks Ltd is to offer its Isolan 802.3 Bridge and Isoview Network Manager (CI No 1,066) in the US in April, three months after their UK launch; designed to the IEEE 802.1 Bridge Standard, the Bridge filters at a rate of 21,800 packets per second, forwards at 13,600 packets per second and incorporates the Spanning Tree Protocol, while the Network Manager centralises control over networks – for American buyers, the Bridge is $7,500, the Network Manager $6,000.
