Londonderry, Northern Ireland-based AVM Telecom Ltd has announced the Multiprotocol Router for ISDN Version 3.0. It routes all widely-used protocols, including IPX/SPX, TCP/IP and AppleTalk, and provides source-routing bridging capability for IBM NetBIOS and SNA, said the company. Apparently it can be set up as either a stand-alone router or run together with other NetWare services such as file and print, NetWare for SAA and NetWare Connect. The Multiprotocol Router for ISDN can also run on either NetWare 3.11 or 4.1, said the company. AVM added that all local area network types and major ISDN D-channel protocols are supported by the product. The company gave no pricing or availability information.
