IT services company Atos Origin has signed a new five-year agreement with DZ Bank, an integral part of the German cooperative banking organisation.
Under the agreement, Atos Origin takes over management of the data centre and infrastructure services to support the majority of the IT applications for the Bank.
The company will deliver server, storage and database management as well as backup and archiving services to DZ Bank from its data centres in Essen and Ratingen in Germany.
Atos Origin said that it deliver technical support for applications development and management to the bank from Germany and its near-shore centre in Poland.
Atos Origin Germany and CEMA CEO Winfried Holz said, the new agreement with DZ Bank further strengthens the company’s position in financial services in Germany, where it provides its clients with both outsourcing and payment offerings.
