Pier Carlo Faletti clearly has a major task on his hands at his new charge, Ask Group Inc: the firm lost $20m on sales off 13% in its most recent quarter, and took a pre-tax hit of $4m to cover the cost of cutting its workforce by 200, 8%, mainly in North America. The Mountain View firm blames falling resale of hardware for decline in turnover.
