American Industrial Systems(AIS) has introduced a PC-Based Control System line for industrial automation and PLC control supporting the IEC 61131 programming standard.
The company said that the Industrial Panel PCs feature Intel Atom Z series processors with rugged steel housing and have the available options of a IP65 sealable Aluminum Bezel.
Currently the PC Control Systems are available in 5.7” to 15.4” dimensions, and are touchscreen enabled that gives users a HMI terminal for operators to monitor, control, and program data into the system. The PLC terminal is pre-designed and available in several configurations for drop-in replacement or new deployment applications, the company said.
The company claims that its industrial grade panel PCs are designed to be reliable, long lifetime support and easily programmable and accessed supporting a non-proprietary-hardware based offering. Additional options such as sunlight readable Transflective films, privacy films, touch screens, wide voltage range boards, Power over Ethernet (PoE), wide temperature range modules, and shock/vibration enhancements are also included.
In addition, the new new product also offers benefits such as ease of interfacing basic control functions with high level functions and native remote communication using ethernet or the internet, the company said.
