The free Windows Phone 8 app allows users to find out what their top speed is, look at your contacts and find out what friends are still on the mountain. Other features allows users to set and access snow reports, track activities and goal-setting.
Winter Survival Kit
This app has some unique features such as sending your location to emergency services and calculating how long you can run your car engine to keep warm, before you run out of petrol or at risk of carbon-monoxide poising. It also tells you where you are and sends notifications to family as well as store emergency contacts for roadside assistance and insurance policies.
