Enterprise network infrastructure automation software and hardware provider Infoblox has released a new software module, Load Balancer Manager, for Infoblox’s automated network control platform.
The new release will help network administrators to centrally manage their F5 BIG-IP Global Traffic Manager (GTM) appliances from the Infoblox infrastructure’s management interface.
Infoblox Load Balancer Manager can reduce the complexity, risks, time and costs associated with administering F5 BIG-IP GTM appliances.
The F5 BIG-IP GTM appliances include: automated discovery of BIG-IP GTM configurations, single pane of glass" visibility into the BIG-IP GTM infrastructure, delegated BIG-IP GTM infrastructure administration based on permissions, configuration and synchronisation across multiple BIG-IP GTM systems and automated DNS system changes in conjunction with BIG-IP GTMs.
It also reduces IT complexity and cost through automation of the tasks required to support complex computer networks.
The new Load Balancer Manager is an extension of Infoblox’s automation capabilities, Infoblox Grid technology and intuitive user interface.
Infoblox Marketing executive vice president David Gee said the new release helps reduce repetitive tasks that IT administrators have to frequently perform to access and manage their critical network infrastructures through discreet management consoles.
"Extending Infoblox’s automation and management capabilities to harness the powerful F5 global traffic management infrastructure underscores Infoblox’s commitment to continue helping enterprise IT departments transform and scale their complex networks," Gee said.
