Services giant Computer Sciences Corp has acquired a small software design and development firm based in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. T-Whack Software Inc will join CSC’s Consulting Group. The company, which was founded in 1993 by Tom Wackerfuss, has 40 staff with skills in Visual Basic, C++, Java, SQL Server, Oracle and Access, and made annual revenues of $5.5m in 1997. Its customers include Motorola Inc, Baxter International Inc and Abbott Laboratories. Terms were not disclosed.
