Telecommunications equipment and network applications provider ZTE has launched its Grand X smartphone powered by Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) in the UK.
ZTE Grand X is a dual-core mobile which comes with a 4.3-inch screen, an NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core chipset to provide consumers with enhanced graphic quality for watching movies, browsing online and photo sharing.
The NVIDIA Tegra processor delivers fast download speeds and video processing and one-touch access to the Tegra Zone, giving mobile gamers access to mobile games.
It includes 4.3-inch 16 million colour Sharp screen (960×540) and cinematic surround-sound Dolby Mobile Sound technology to offer users an enhanced mobile entertainment experience.
ZTE Grand X also features Bluetooth, WiFi and DLNA which enable users to share content across multiple devices such as TVs and displays, printers, cameras and other mobile, multimedia devices.
The smartphone features a 5MP rear-facing camera, a 1650mAh battery and a 4GB of internal storage expandable to 32GB via microSD. It will also allow users to capture, play and share content using the HD video capability.
Other features of the Grand X include Facetones which shows friends’ latest social media updates and photos when they call; and Evernote which enables users to save voice notes, memos, photographs and music in the cloud so they are always accessible.
The ZTE Grand X will be available on contract through Phones 4u and Virgin Media stores across the UK from beginning of August.
