Fujitsu has introduced STYLISTIC Q702 business hybrid tablet that is powered by a 3rd Generation Intel Core i3 or i5 processor.

The new tablet features a 11.6-inch AH-IPS HD, dual digitiser, multi-touch display for pen or touch input.

STYLISTIC Q702 has an optional keyboard dock allowing user to transform the tablet into a notebook complete with WLAN, USB, and VGA connectivity as well as an additional battery.

User can complete all the keyboard intensive tasks with the keyboard dock and after completion of tasks it can be switched back to a tablet mode.

Fujitsu’s new hybrid tablet is designed to cater to various work-styles and optmised for use in healthcare, education, retail POS, insurance and anywhere where a tablet is the preferred application, the company said.

The security features include: biometric fingerprint sensor, Computrace support, HDD and BIOS password protection, embedded Trusted Platform Module (TPM), Intel Anti-Theft Technology, and optional Intel vPro Technology.

STYLISTIC Q702 hybrid tablet weighs 1.88 pounds, provides up to 9 hours battery back up and comes with Windows 7 Professional at launch while it can support upcoming Windows 8.

It also features USB 2.0 and 3.0, HDMI, SD/SDHC expansion ports, front-facing and rear-facing webcams, 64 or 128 GB mSATA SSD, Intel HD Graphics 4000 andOnboard 4GB DDR3.

Fujitsu has also upgraded its LIFEBOOK T902 convertible tablet PC with an isolation keyboard and other enhancements, including a dual digitiser with 10-finger multi-touch support to navigate around the ultra-durable display.

The redesigned LIFEBOOK T902 convertible tablet PC is powered by 3rd Generation Intel Core i5 or i7 processor and comes with a 6-cell battery with a modular bay battery for over 11 hours of computing time.

LIFEBOOK T902 convertible tablet PC weighs 4.1 pounds (without ODD) and features: optional TCG OPAL compliant SED drives, DDR3 1600 MHz, up to 16 GB and anti-microbial, spill resistant keyboard with trackpad.

It also includes a complete suite of security features including dedicated Smart Card Slot, biometric fingerprint sensor, Computrace support, HDD and BIOS password protection, security panel, Intel Anti-Theft Technology, and optional Intel vPro Technology.

Fujitsu said it has designed the STYLISTIC Q702 hybrid tablet and the LIFEBOOK T902 tablet PC with the goal of being used with Windows 8.
