Telecommunications firm Orange has partnered with salesforce.com to integrate the latter’s Do.com social app in Orange’s Le Cloud Pro SME service.

Salesforce Do.com offers simpler and faster way for groups to collaborate on shared task lists, projects and notes from their computer, tablet or smartphone and it will facilitate social and mobile collaboration to help small businesses get work done.

The two companies are working together help small businesses achieve new levels of social productivity and organisation, Orange said.

Integrating Do.com into Le Cloud Pro will enable customers to stay organised and connected to the things they are working on, and the people they are working with.

Le Cloud Pro is Orange’s suite of cloud-based applications, bundles services built to sustain and develop the activity of small businesses.

Orange said it has partnered with salesforce.com in order to address the challenges of small businesses in terms of collaboration, office work, business management, communication, and customer relationship management.

Salesforce Do.com senior vice president and general manager Sean Whiteley said integrating Do.com’s social and mobile productivity apps into Orange’s Le Cloud Pro small business application will help millions of small businesses work together efficiently.

"Already used by tens of thousands of businesses, Do.com makes it easy to stay organized and connected to anyone you are working with, and can be used on any device," said Whiteley.

Salesforce Do.com will be available in Le Cloud Pro platform in the third quarter of 2012 allowing Orange customers to access the Do.com app.
